AbbVie announced that the Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) has accepted ELAHERE (mirvetuximab soravtansine) for use within NHS Scotland as a monotherapy for the treatment of eligible adults with folate receptor-alpha (FRα) positive, platinum-resistant, high-grade serous epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer after one to three lines of systemic treatment regimens. This marks an important milestone for the PROC community as it is the first treatment accepted for this population in NHS Scotland for over ten years.
